Our Story
The Picture Framing Group is a family-owned company started by father and son, Don and Cole Glassner. With over 40 years in the industry, Don built a foundation of expertise and relationships, while Cole has spent the past 20 years growing the business into what it is today.
We started out primarily selling artwork and wholesale frames to artists and businesses. Over time, we evolved into a retail framing powerhouse, beginning with our Art and Company location in Orland Park. From there, we expanded with The Frame Shop brand in Chicago.
As our reputation grew, so did our footprint and expertise—welcoming Posterworks, Curtis Frame & Gallery, and The Custom Framer into the family. Today, we're proud to serve Chicagoland with nine specialty framing destinations.
