Wedding & Ketubah Framing FAQs

Answers to common questions from newlyweds, parents, and gift-givers across Chicagoland.

Can you custom frame a Jewish Ketubah with hand-torn (deckled) edges or gold leaf?

Yes! Ketubah framing is one of our specialties across all 11 Chicagoland locations. Because Ketubot are often created on handmade cotton paper, parchment, or laser-cut paper with intricate edges and 24k gold leaf, we recommend archival float mounting on 100% cotton rag or silk-wrapped mat board using reversible Japanese mulberry paper hinges—allowing the full deckled edge or laser-cut shadow to remain visible under 99% UV Tru Vue® Museum Glass®.

Can you frame a Ketubah or wedding sign before the wedding for display on an easel, and seal it afterward?

Absolutely. Many Chicago couples bring their Ketubah in before the ceremony so we can build the custom frame and provide a temporary display backing for signing at the ceremony table or displaying on an easel, or you can bring it in immediately after the wedding for permanent archival sealing.

How do you frame wedding invitations, vows, and dried bouquet flowers together?

We design custom deep-rabbet wedding shadowboxes and multi-opening layouts. We float-mount letterpress invitations, RSVP cards, wax seals, and handwritten vow books alongside preserved bridal bouquet blooms, boutonnieres, silk ribbons, or even the broken glass shards from a Jewish wedding ceremony glass—all spaced safely away from 99% UV-blocking glazing.

Do you print and frame digital wedding photos from our wedding photographer?

Yes! Instead of ordering generic consumer prints online, you can bring or send us the high-resolution digital files from your wedding photographer. We produce museum-grade 12-color archival pigment giclée prints on fine art cotton rag or luster photo paper and custom frame them in-house.

How much does custom wedding framing cost in Chicago?

Custom wedding invitation or portrait framing typically starts around $160 to $320, while custom Ketubah framing and deep 3D wedding keepsake shadowboxes generally range from $280 to $650+ depending on size, silk/linen fabric matting, and Museum Glass® selection.
